SPARK! textile artist Heather Locock would like to share her skills in natural dyeing.

Using the natural dyes, indigo and yellow (from our local tree Cherry Ballart) you will learn how to dye cotton, calico and woollen yarn. From these two natural sources you can create blue, yellow, mustard and green.

The workshop will be all day – so bring lunch and good rubber gloves to protect your hands

Cost $40 and you will have a dyed tea towel, a piece of calico and three 25gram skeins of 4ply woollen yarn to take home.
